Student
San Jose State University
My name is Selena Lee and I am a MLIS candidate/student at San Jose State University. I am a recent law school graduate with an interest in law librarianship. Specifically, I am interested in assisting low income families and persons in the areas of family law, housing, and public benefits. In addition to my interest in law librarianship, I am an aspiring genealogists. My genealogy interest focuses on the transnational voluntary and involuntary migration of Chinese and Scottish people during and after slavery to Jamaica as indentured servants. The heritage of the Scottish migrants includes their travel to NW Europe prior to their travels to Jamaica.
