Baldwin Library of Historical Children's Literature
Ramona Caponegro is the Curator of the Baldwin Library of Historical Children’s Literature at the University of Florida, one of the preeminent youth literature collections. She is a member of the Diverse BookFinder's Community of Practice Advisory Group. Previously a professor of children’s literature, Caponegro has published essays about teaching children’s books, early readers, representations of incarceration, and book awards and was the co-writer of the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation’s documentary, Tell Me Another Story. She has served on multiple book award committees, including committees for the Caldecott Award, Pura Belpre Award, and Phoenix Picture Book Award.
