Delandrus Seales is a Teaching & Learning Librarian from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She previously spent 8 years as a school librarian & 1 year as a public library branch manager in Southeastern North Carolina. Ms. Seales earned her MLS degree from East Carolina University as an IMLS Laura Bush Scholarship recipient.
Ms. Seales taught grades K-12 over the past 13 years, including 8 years as a school librarian, & 5 years as a Special Education Teacher. Her experience includes teaching students & staff technology, information literacy, PBL/Inquiry-based Learning, & digital citizenship through integration w/ ELA, STEAM, & Social Studies.
Ms. Seales is currently the NC Technology in Education Society South Director and DEIA Committee Chair (2019-2023), and the NC School Library liasion to the NC Library Association Executive Board. Ms. Seales was a 2017-18 NC School Library Media Association Emerging Leader; a 2018-19 NC State Friday Institute's Digital Leaders Coaching Network East member; & NC School Library Media Association Coastal Director (2019-2022).
