Dennis Massie is a Senior Program Officer for the OCLC Research Library Partnership, with a focus on sharing collections. He co-authored two recent OCLC Research reports on collaboration, Sustaining Art Research Collections: Using Data to Explore Collaboration and Sustaining Art Research Collections: Case Studies in Collaboration. Previously, Dennis worked with the interlibrary loan community to design and build the OCLC Interlibrary Loan Cost Calculator, a tool that acts as a virtual real-time ILL cost study, and led efforts to promote the sharing of special collections materials between libraries and to reduce the carbon footprint of interlibrary loan operations. Before coming to OCLC in 1997, Dennis served as Head of Interlibrary Loan at New York University’s Bobst Library.
