Kestrel Ward (MSI, University of Florida) (they/them) is a recently graduated librarian and researcher whose interests are ancient history, queer history, queer archives, digital violence, and pop culture. They are active members of the Rainbow Round Table and the Graphic Novels and Comics Round Table, as well as the Women and Gender Studies Section of ACRL. This is their first large research project after graduation, and it will also be written about in an upcoming book from LibraryJuice Press, Censorship is a Drag. They are a queer, nonbinary, single parent living in Gainesville FL with their son, their dog, their son's turtle, and a potato of a cat.
