Systems Administration Librarian
Louisiana State University of Alexandria
Michael Waller joined LSUA in 2018 as the Systems Administration Librarian. Previously he served as the Librarian/Title I Chair at a historically underserved public school, Alexandria Middle Magnet School, and as the Technical Services Librarian at St. John's College. While these institutions are, in many ways, markedly different, they share one trait that has driven his professional development. At each of these small institutions, the most effective employees are often those who demonstrate an ability to step into varied roles as new challenges and opportunties arise. Most recently, Michael's flexibility has proven instrumental in his role as Associate Director of CORE, LSUA's Center for Opportunity, Research, and Experiential learning.
