Chyi-Kuan Wang is a PhD student in Library, Information, and Archival Studies at National Chengchi University, ROC (Taiwan). Her research areas include political sentiment, selective perception, cyberbullying, and exploring changes in interdisciplinary graduate studies after Covid-19. Her master's thesis analyzed social media strategies and assessed their suitability for archives. Currently, her research focuses on the political use of archives in the media, with an emphasis on the interaction between the press and social media comments.
In 2018, she earned the Excellent Award in the Archival Research and Application Competition awarded by the National Archives Administration in Taiwan. She has years of experience in restoring and describing archives and rare books. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Ancient Chinese Book Collation and Studies.
Chyi-Kuan has been actively involved in English pedagogy and currently serves as an online English teacher for high school students in rural parts of Taiwan. Her greatest sense of achievement comes from improving students' English grades from 12 to 48.
