Aaron LaFromboise is the Director of Library Services at Medicine Spring Library, the academic library of Blackfeet Community College and the community library and archives for the Blackfeet Tribe. Aaron has been the director for seven years and at the library for a total of 13 years. Ms. LaFromboise is an active member of local and national library organizations and groups. She is the immediate past president of the American Indian Library Association, an advisor for the Tribal College Librarians Institute, and has worked as an advisor for former ALA President Julius Jefferson Jr., a commissioner for the Montana State Library, and the representative for academic and special libraries in the Montana Library Association. Aaron has a passion for dissemination of traditional Blackfeet culture and knowledge, as well as Indigenous representation in management in libraries and archives. Outside of the library Aaron is an avid quilter, beader, and gardener.
