Heather Koopmans (she/her/hers)

Fine Arts Librarian
Illinois State University

Heather Koopmans is the Fine Arts Librarian at Illinois State University, serving as subject librarian for art, theatre, dance, and creative technologies disciplines. Koopmans has over a decade of experience as an academic librarian, primarily serving creative and visual arts communities. Her research focuses on visual literacy, information literacy instruction for creative practitioners, and information needs and practices of artists. Koopmans received her MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
