Literacy Manager
Stark Library

Julia Shaheen is Literacy Manager at Stark Library where she oversees the literacy efforts and Ready for School program designed to prepare families for school success. She provides staff, parent, and educator workshops including the Every Child Ready to Read and Reimagining School Readiness workshops in Ohio. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Education as well as several certificates in reading and early literacy education. She has presented at numerous schools, community organizations, and local radio programming in addition to regional, state and national conferences.
