Brittany Labinger (she/her) is an Instructional Coach at Thinkery Children's Museum in Austin, Texas. She advises Austin area educators on how to introduce inquiry-based and play-based STEAM activities into their classrooms. Brittany began working in outreach in 2018 as the Outreach Librarian at the Lorain Public Library System (OH). In 2019, she was a co-recipient of the John Philip Outreach and Community Engagement Award for her work on the Discovery on the Go outreach program. Prior to her role at Thinkery, Brittany served as the Library Director for Elgin Public Library, in Elgin, Texas, where she secured grant funding and began the outreach program Beyond the Bricks.
