Jason is a Senior Research Scientist and Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington’s Information School. He is a social scientist who uses community-based and participatory methods to support historically marginalized groups in accessing and using information and communication technologies. His current research explores topics including digital literacy, misinformation, access to Internet, and community archiving. Public libraries are key partners on many of these projects. Jason received his PhD from the University of Washington Department of Geography in 2017.
