This College of Business (CoB) subscribes to multiple databases for their faculty, students, and affiliates to use in their instruction and research. The acquisition of these databases is in response to individual or departmental requests, but as the collection grows, others may not become aware. In response to the immediate need to make these resources visible and accessible for everyone, resulted in a CoB database website that is systematically updated. Maintaining each record is dependent upon interactions among the business librarian, faculty, vendor, as well as accounting, and information technology (IT) personnel. Exposing research options on this website opens the pathway for collaborations among faculty, students, and affiliates. As subscriptions approach renewal date, decisions to release funds dependents on need. The business librarian and IT director performed an assessment to gather details regarding needs, access points, and the continued relevance of the resources to meet faculty needs. The results of this survey played an integral part and provided valuable information in validating purchases, ensuring the needs of faculty are met, and relevance of the website. This poster highlights the strategies and process to showcase, market, maintain, and assess their college funded resources that support research and instruction.
