Economic impact of conservation and restoration actions on contemporary bibliographic collections of University Libraries: feedbacks and heritage problems. (Digital Poster)
Conservation and Restoration It is cheaper than buy another book for students. Leaders and all management people do understand $ language: we need to talk to them. Ttechniques and materials used to rare books are an alternative to academic collections. Memory is constructed and reconstructed every single day, forming an integral part of our identity and shaping us collectively as a group. In order to cultivate an original, diverse, and decolonized memory, it becomes our responsibility to authentically forge our own individual and collective identities. Contemporary materials, as books, can be foot prints of memory, identity and cultural heritage. To preserve them now is too much cheaper than restore (or lose) in future. but There will be always some lost... that what makes preservation so special.
