This session looks at the value of media literacy education as a lens and consideration for how to address social justice issues from representation and power while understanding the context that connects these issues with patrons whether in schools, public libraries, or the community. Through this session, presenters will highlight the ideas, challenges, and possibilities found within their work. Lastly, presenters will discuss lessons learned throughout their journey as they were publishing their books on equity, diversity, and social justice.
